Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has  A:diamond: Q:diamond:

Hero raises to 2.5 BB, fold, CO calls 2.5 BB, fold, fold, BB raises to 10.5 BB, Hero calls 8 BB, fold

Flop: (24 BB, 2 players)  8:diamond: A:heart: T:diamond:
BB bets 18 BB,

Was calling the 3 bet pre flop correct and do you shove on the turn?

I think flatting the 3bet is fine as it isn't too big plus might encourage other guy to come along. I'm never raising turn or betting when checked to. I there might be a stronger argument to fold the turn than raise the turn. Obviously depends on turn sizing if we fold or not.

I can't see a turn lol.

But preflop seems fine to me and i would call now. Keep his and our perceived ranges as wide as possible.

Oooops, I meant reraise all in after the flop.

I mean we'll always have ok equity to get it in. But imo it's just worth keeping in any barrels, protects us in future for times we might want to call e.g. QQ/JJ in a spot like this, and because we have diamonds there's not many bad turn cards for us really and instead he could pick up equity on a later street.

feel like il be doing a fair bit of calling in this hand.

River unimproved is the only point where my finger wont be poised and ready over the part of the screen where call is.

Thanks for the replies.

I went all in over his raise, he had AK and I did not improve.  In hindsight, I thought calling on the flop would have been better, and from the above comments, it looks as though that is what I should have done.

Yeh calling far superior going all in makes him fold kk/qq
And not ak.

Is maybe fold pre though his range is not a squeeze it
Is just nutted and v likely
Qq/ak+
