Title: Re: $3 rebuy 180 man early Post by: teamonkey on August 15, 2014, 02:38:31 PM long time since i played any of these games Callum, but i'd very probably be calling and then hoping i have another 6 dollars left in my account to reload
Also, i'd bet bigger preflop, make them pay to play vs your stronger hand, this is one of them examples where your big hand has cost you a lot of/all of your chips, perhaps i'm a bit out of touch with the modern game now i rarely play online, but i'd rather take a few chips than lose a lot this early. did you call? did he show QJhts ?? edge of my seat here........... Rather then let them wait for the result and say told you so, there like that them to! Title: Re: $3 rebuy 180 man early Post by: mondatoo on August 15, 2014, 04:14:46 PM 3x pre
Fold flop>Call>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Raise Randoms punt so hard in these early on that I'm not folding tptk here vs this line. K4hh wins. Title: Re: $3 rebuy 180 man early Post by: pleno1 on August 15, 2014, 04:45:04 PM River seems like a fold. We've taken an extremely strong line and by the time we bet the river we are at the bottom kf our range. We have so many stronger hands to call with and the board hits our perceived range really hard so I doubt were getting bluffed.
Pre is ok if population tendencies are aggressive but I assume at this stage people are passive so we don't need to worry about having a smaller spr as we continue so would imagine 60 is slightly better. Flop seems wte but I prefer folding but think raising is maybe a little bit better than calling. Turn feels too small he will never fold kj, qk, jt, qt, q9, j9 all fd combos so we should go a little bit bigger ott. Title: Re: $3 rebuy 180 man early Post by: dreenie on August 18, 2014, 07:26:03 PM check back turn and call river... you have no idea what he is donking flop with so to bet/call river is imo ambitious to say the least.
woukd rather just jam pre if rebuy period and get someone to call off with a A10 sooooooted or something #gamblegamble fold as played tho. Title: Re: $3 rebuy 180 man early Post by: lucky_scrote on August 18, 2014, 09:15:23 PM Fold flop

Don't jam pre, it's not optimal. Why would we check back turn when he has a ton of worse hands that will call and we're just letting him get there with all his draws for free. No concerns with inflating a pot with top top early stages of these. As for river, he pretty much never has a set, T9 3b flop close to always, I don't see randoms c/c QJ/KT/K9 on turn tons with a fd out but can't discount it. People overvalue one pair hands in these so often, he can definitely get to the river like this and then just rip KJ/KQ once flush has missed. He won't be turning weak one pair hands into a bluff though so we beat missed fd, KQ/KJ and some random spew offs. If villian is a reg it's a pretty easy b/f on river without reasoning to do otherwise, not vs a random in these though, but I wouldn't call worse. Obv Callum called, and lost :) K4hh wins.
