Title: PokerTracker & HEM merge. Post by: tikay on August 22, 2014, 08:10:55 AM Our very own Bary Carter teased this earlier this week, & went public first, as far as I can tell.
The logic of the meger seems obvious, especially in the light of the Poker Scout report earlier this week, which detailed the remarkable decline in online high stakes cash games in the last few years, in favour of more players at lower stakes. How do the poker public view the merger? Title: Re: PokerTracker & HEM merge. Post by: tikay on August 22, 2014, 08:12:40 AM Presumably, if 'Stars ever banned PT/HEM, that'd be gg them? It must be a terrible thing to be so overly reliant on a single site which (deservedly) controls the fat end of 90% of the market. Title: Re: PokerTracker & HEM merge. I don't actually have a problem with successful companies dominating markets. (See also Microsoft, google, Tesco etc), if they build a great business, good luck to them. Title: Re: PokerTracker & HEM merge. Post by: superwomble on August 23, 2014, 01:43:52 PM The first potential issue that comes to mind is that up until now both products have strived to keep improving, in competition with each other. If they're no longer pushing each other to improve, will the rate of improvement slow or halt?
