Title: AQo in bb facing 4 limps in straddled pot. Post by: Juuice on August 28, 2014, 09:07:44 PM 7 Handed live game:
£1/1/(2straddle) We're in bb with Aspades Qh with £250, smallest eff stack £70 with afew £100-£200 stacks. Game has been very loose passive pre flop with lots of limping and over calling, very low fold equity with atleast 3 people usually seeing a flop (regardless of 20+x opens) whats our play? Squeezing my hand with very little FE and having to likely play a large pot oop against undefined ranges seems like an unattractive option regarding playabilty post flop wth some shorter stacks in the hand (bb £2 effective for the hand), but limping a hand so high up in my range also just feels so weak/wasteful any opinions on our action? am i just falling in love with my hand too much? (not often you get as sexy a hand as AQ live!) Title: Re: AQo in bb facing 4 limps in straddled pot. Post by: DMorgan on August 28, 2014, 09:15:47 PM Whats the action ahead of you?

Live cash £1/1 with an occasional £2 straddle. 8 handed: Utg(~£70) limps Utg+1(~£130) limps CO(~£200) limps SB (~£120) limps BB (~£250) Aspades Qh Straddle (~£180) We have pretty good image, are winning in the game and have been playing very ABC TAG, they dont seem to notice though or just dont care, and will readily give us action if we want to try and 'bully them' Title: Re: AQo in bb facing 4 limps in straddled pot. Post by: Rexas on August 28, 2014, 09:55:06 PM Whats the action ahead of you? The title says four limps, although i did need to look twice! :) First of all, welcome to the PHA pal :) I would very happily squeeze with AQ partly because of how often people are calling pre - we're going to get action from hands that we have in very bad shape. I wouldn't make it a small squeeze either, probably look to make it £20 or so. Not only do we get action from hands we dominate, but we also take the betting lead which (should we manage to knock a few people out of the hand with our squeeze) should mean we can cbet and win the pot on some good flops. Welcome to Blonde mate Would try betting slightly bigger than your previous opens to lose some of the limpers. If it goes to the flop 3 way, proceed with caution, but hopefully it's hu:) Title: Re: AQo in bb facing 4 limps in straddled pot.
