Title: Poker Songs
Post by: Azaruna on September 10, 2014, 05:18:46 PM
The Poker Rap

Is this, the best poker song you've ever heard? Apart from Kenny Rogers 'The Gambler' I think it is pretty good. If you agree, please search Azaruna on facebook and like my page.

Hope you enjoy and share my facebook and youtube with everyone.

this maybe the worst poker song i've ever heard, but that is just my opinion. may sound a lot better if it was produced professionally.

Surely Prahlad Friedman has already produced the undisputed masterpiece in this genre?

"Poker is fun for ev-ery-one" I think it was called?

Big difference is, the guy has a decent singing voice but he is using another person's tune and just added some fun lyrics. Big difference in producing your own music and lyrics to create something completely new and unique. As for 'Poker is fun for everyone', well that is poor and doesn't even rhyme, lol.

Sorry to ask what is obviously a stupid question apparently...

But why does poker 'need' songs? Is there really a demand or a market for it?

There was a comment from him under that video saying he had taken a lot down.  Having a crisis of confidence on the way he treats people.  Obviously Tom Dwan deserves to be ridiculed over thus, and whilst I do feel a bit sorry for Dan, he kind of deserves it after his death threats.

Do you guys really think there is some talent in writing lyrics and adding it to music that was already a hit song world wide? I'd say most of you guys could even do that. Writing and producing a completely new tune, is a different matter altogether.

I don't know about everyone else, but I think there is, yes.

I wouldn't attempt to produce my own song, because it would be shit, and I know that.

I'll just leave it to people like Siriusly Sirius, who have the lyrical tekkers.

Yeah, this is definately a well put together song. Obviously professionally done in a studio with backing singers and everything; makes a big difference to a track.  I really liked this rap, thanks for sharing it with me dude.

I'm rather disappointed that out of so many views, there is lack of feedback.

What is going on with the 600 post views yet only half of them have clicked to watch and listen to the song?

I think that is very normal. Far more people browse, read and don't respond.

It's nothing personal, just the way of forums

I read every Post, or try to, so my "clicks" count, but I'm afraid "Poker Songs" are not my thing at all, sorry. If you paid me money, I'd still not watch or listen, they are just not my thing, I'm more into House of Pain, Gwen Stefana, Salt 'N Pepa, & Lullaby on Broadway. Each to their own.

I have no problem with other people enjoying them though.

Because it is a cool thing. If you are into poker or any other interest you may have. A song about it that you can relate to is perfect

Hi Azaruna,

In case you were not aware, blonde has several different "themes" (backgrounds), & on the most popular one, it is not really possible to read yellow font

Red, blue, or plain black work better if you want everyone to be able to read your Posts.
