Evening Blonde

Taking another dip into the live staking board, treading more carefully by the day with my LOL results so bear with me....my name is Chris Roberts or Rab90 Stars/Tilt for quick reference.  This is an initial interest thread as I sense people will be losing patience with my inability to make level 3.  In addition I don't even wish to begin the "can I have money for poker conversation" without knowing if I can find the other half.

Tournament

£200+£20 freezeout with a £25,000 unconditional guarantee. 25k starting stack with 40 minute levels on Day 1 and 45 minute on Day 2. Fully dealer dealt.

There are 3 starting flights, 1 per day:
Flight A @ 7pm, Thursday 9th October
Flight B @ 7pm, Friday 10th October
Flight C @ 1pm, Saturday 11th October

We will be playing flight C

Nb my record at Maybury is reasonably good.

Why you should stake me?

- I have not cashed a live comp of any kind in 14 months, so am clearly due!
- I embrace the community spirit and have been staked and/or staked several blondes in the past
- I help old ladies across the street, clean up litter and generally help the outside community also
- I am probably not as bad as the worst players in the field and maybe even slightly better than the medium players.
- I have conducted several financial transactions on here without an issue (bar comedy cent grimming and slow paying camel $13)
- You will get updates and reports, including some likely comically flawed thinking which made sense at the time, always fun for PHA
- I am the only staked player on blonde to have successfully spun a second free bullet for backers on roulette.

Why you should not stake me?

- I subsequently spunked that free bullet too, all in one day!
- You hate puppies, rainbows and unicorns

Why am I selling?

Going to Vegas in November and my Mrs has taken ownership of everything I earn and/or find in the street.  The releasing of funds is a 3 stage process involving forms, promises and blood.  I think the request for £220 for a poker tournament is not going to go down well....thankfully the return of your winnings will not be so challenging, alas I don't think I will see mine FML.

What I am Selling

I am selling 60% at spot which I think represents moderate value (down graded from fair to moderate last time) in an Edinburgh based tournament.  You would have no share of my attempts to hit number 5 on the roulette wheel following the tournament.  Unless you expressly ask.  I cannot guarantee I will try and win us another bullet on roulette (can't rule it out though)

50% = £110
25% = £55
10% = £22
5% = £11

I really need bank transfer (nearer the time) as I dont think it will let me withdraw low amounts from stars and I will invariably punt it on stars!

Flame away (or preferably just say a % and allow me to win us mad dimes)

Thanks Mick, I was starting to think calling my stakers LOL punters was a marketing faux pas of ratneresque standing.

TR of bus journey needed imo

Haha out of boredom, I will provide a picture journey of how hard it is for me to get there!

We have the hourly bus from Kinglassie to Glenrothes, the Glenrothes to Edinburgh bus, followed by....the CHOICE! Do we get off at Barnton and walk 20 minutes in the rain (guess it will be), or do we hang on till town and get a bus back to Maybury, likely 20-30 minutes longer, but going to be drier.  Decisions Decisions! Option 2 costs £1.60 more as the bus back wont be on my Stagecoach pass!!

I cannot get home after 10pm, so we also have that conundrum to solve.  Likely to be done so by phoning Mrs and saying "errrm, I am stuck" or phoning mates and saying "we drinking?".  The journey home will be just is harrowing...can't wait :)

The journey begins....

After a bowl of soup and a wash behind the ears we are off and running.  The 1015 bus should find hero in Glenrothes for 1033, we then have the epic 12 minute dodge of going into ladbrokes before we are safely on the bus!

Nothing of note, not been in a pot bigger than 2000 chips, table is quiet. Got about 23,700.

Got 22,700, £44,500 collected!

Still quiet, made a couple of good folds to value bets with marginals. One showdown and guy out the hand asks to see my cards, so little X on his back :)
