Title: Poker in Netherlands
Post by: superwomble on October 17, 2014, 05:03:02 PM
I'm off to Netherlands for a
few days soon so will be hoping to get some
play in while I'm over there. I'm staying
near Rotterdam - does anyone know
anywhere there to play poker?

Also, what sites are OK to play online there?

TIA :-)

As far as I know, Stars is fine in Netherlands and I think all of the other major sites are fine too.

Have fun!

yup

Holland casinos has a legal monopoly

In March 2011, the Dutch coalition government announced a new gambling framework which in 2015 will open the country's online gambling market (including casinos, lotteries, poker, sportsbooks and bingo) to licensed domestic and foreign gaming establishments

That legal monopoly no longer exists as the government sold the casinos. This is obviously great news and I heard a rumour about the EPT reaching the Netherlands at some point...
