The opener, DONTSTOP22 is a very good regular player, he's very aggressive, probably a little too aggro in 6max games we have a LOT of history in both HU and 6max and I'm fairly sure he would consider me good/TAG in 6max games. SB is another reg, think he's on a downswing lately and not been playing as well recently but he's pretty good too. Every street could have done something different I think. Yep Can't really find anything else I'd want to do differently though with no relevant blockers and it doesn't really look like a great spot for him to be taking off with this particular line Title: Re: How would you play this? Title: Re: How would you play this? Post by: SuuPRlim on November 10, 2014, 09:51:16 AM I could 3bet pf, stab the flop, fold the turn and call the river :P
I think though, 3betting this player PF who's may more merry about getting 100bb stacks in at any point is a bit spew when hand plays just fine OTB. I think actually the flop and turn maybe a decent spot for discussion, if i'm going to bet/fold anything here then this seems like an ideal candidate - whereas I don't have AA I have AK and KK combo's that would be bet/getting it in, my hand can stand a call, but if it gets raised then it's really no great shakes as i only have 3 nut outs and they don't kill. Turn - IDK if anyone would fold now? He's obviously setting up for a river jam and if we can only call on clubs and Q's (assume he'll never let us win with 1p Kings or a rivered 2pair?) then IDK if calling is really any good, given on the most of my calling rivers there is a fair chance I might lose still. It's slightly out of rhythm to check a flop like this as a 3bettor PF and if it's to c/r AI then obviously its from a super strong range as naked AA would probably not risk a check on a texture like this into us two players. River I think contemplating a hero call is pretty ridiculous lol Seems like i played it well though, so yay for me:) Title: Re: How would you play this? Post by: rfgqqabc on November 10, 2014, 01:54:27 PM Agree about pre, did occur to me but I like the call.
Turn we pick up 7s as outs too so thats probably enough to outweigh your concerns. If he checks on spade rivers we can probably run a cheap bluff too, as he probably thinks we have spades more often than clubs (possibly, I think I would.) Title: Re: How would you play this?
