Title: Budget Android tablet recommendations anyone? Post by: david3103 on November 10, 2014, 09:46:16 PM Was going to get the grandson a Hudl1 at the sell off price of £79 but they sold out. Ebay prices are holding around that figure but I begrudge paying retail price for something that I won't have any Sale of Goods rights on.
So, budget buy Android tablets? Sub £60 ideally, anyone got one, or have any advice on brands/suppliers please? He'll mostly be playing Minecraft and Clash of Clans and watching YouTube videos of people playing Clash of Clans and Minecraft. Got to agree with this, I bought my kids a cheap tablet from Currys and returned it within a day. Just got them the Hudl 2's for xmas and I've had a play with it while setting it up and for the money it's very impressive, nice size screen, easy to use, easy to set up parental controls. Highly recommend for the extra £69. Also if you have club card point you can use them and they are doubled up so you can end up getting extra discount. Post by: Skippy on November 13, 2014, 09:12:03 PM I wouldn't buy a Kindle fire because it is Amazon's own special version of Android, not the standard one so it doesn't/won't have all the apps as it doesn't have access to the Google app store. For the same money get a proper Android tablet.
