Title: HU MTT Hand Post by: shipitgood on November 11, 2014, 05:09:08 PM It's a low stakes Bounty Hunter MTT, the FT has went really quick, me and the villain are super deep.
We know very little about the villain prior to HU, at the start we had about 80k they had about 130k. We've chipped up a bit and now have the chip lead. Player seems more on the tightish side. OOP they seem to check fold most flops, if they hit a piece they donk bet. In position they will stab flop and turn/ give up the river. Or stab flop give up on the turn. They seem OK, if not a bit passive OOP. we have 129k they have 77k. Blinds, 600/1200 WE have Ac Jc Min raise 2.4k, they min 3 bet to 4.8k. They have 3 bet twice before and it's never got to show down. I suspect they are being pretty honest and have decentish hands, pocket pairs, A x, KQsuited type hands. What would you do? 4 bet or call. Thoughts on Sizing for a 4 bet, any shout for jamming? Also if he's just playing pretty weak tight you're gunna be able to just grind him down winning all the small pots unless he has a hand so really no need to take off in this spot vs what we can reasonably assume is going to be a value heavy range. I wouldn't say that 4betting is a mistake because I think he'd probably size the 3bet bigger with his super-premiums so we're not super likely to get 5bet but I think calling is best |
