Title: river yuck spot
Post by: Ironside on November 28, 2014, 11:28:58 PM
45 man turbo normally limping in means you have a monster and your looking for a raise
or your a fish who hasnt worked out that an average stack is just 10 bigs
he has bet every street post flop my hand is disguised and he may think kings are good
i am assuming i am ok to here but now what?

He hasn't bet every street fwiw.

Probs bet river but check seems ok, never folding now.

this is so much more of a check jam than a bet fold on the river, i think im torn between you having a value hand or a bluff catcher.

I don't think this is a line taken by any hand that beats you though.

Villain looks like they really want to maximise fold equity on the flop betting full pot. Surely would bet twice with drawing hands, so I discard them when turn checks through. ace on the river will help them hang themselves as they feel you will have it less often, looks like a badly played pocket pair, I'd lean towards c/j river and note if they can't fold matching hole cards. If he has you beat, note he bets full pot in limped HU pots with monsters.

wasnt sure if i had played hand proper if i had missed out on value or if i should of just folded flop
but as everyone is agreed its ok to the river but most people think i should bet the river
