Title: browser and AV choices

i am currently setting up my new PC


it has 370 days sub with bulldog AV
I can get macfee free with BT


which would you use ?

browser I have used firefox for a few years now but which is the best one currently?

I use Microsoft Security Essentials for my laptop AV, and it's done me OK so far. I'm sure others with more knowledge will give better advice.

As for browsers, I use Firefox because of the range of add-ons available. But I think it's a personal choice between FF and Chrome. I haven't used IE for donkeys now, except to test websites on, so can't comment on whether or not it's caught up with the other two or not.

yeah other option is MSE for AV as its free wasnt sure if it was as good as the others i have used it in past aswell and run it on older machines as its less resource hungry IMHO

I use IE since FF and chrome started getting those annoying things where you hover over a word and it brings up an advert. If I could remember how to disable it I'd probably go back but to be honest IE is absolutely fine.

you have a browser add/virus if you want I can call you and talk through its removal
