Title: Re: LIVE UPDATE SCHEDULE Post by: Jim-D on January 29, 2006, 01:20:53 AM LOL, i just pasted what i get when i click on it,
These Festivals have a habit of creeping up on us, so we thought we'd publish a provisional list of where and when the blonde Live Update team will try be during the rest of 2005. "try to be"? Why "try"? Well, it's not as simple as you may think. We have to get formal approval from the Casinos, & there are Gaming Commission Rules to comply with, as to whether Jen or I are playing or reporting. "Media" Members are classified differently to playing Members. Grosvenor are very good indeed with us, but we still have to apply before each Festival, & can only do so a few weeks in advance. The EPT's - schedule not announced yet, but we can almost guess where & when they will be in 2005 - are the same. John Duthie has bent over backwards to accommodate blonde at Deauville, Copenhagen, Vienna & Monte Carlo already. After Monte, he & I agreed that blonde & The EPT would continue to support each other in Season Two, and he confirmed this a week or two back, but we still have to tie up the nuts & bolts. And we also may have contractual requirements to cover a particular event, & we can't foresee these, because we have no idea to whom the Live Updates may be syndicated or sold, if indeed to anyone. So provisional it is then, but it may well look like this. In all cass, it's Main Event only, unless plans change, & there is a demand for the support events. Paris WPT - July 25th - July 29th. Celebpoker, Palm Beach Casino, Mayfair, 30th & 31st July The European Championships, The Vic, August 3rd, 4th & 5th Grosvenor UK Open, Luton, 13th - 14th August Summer Festival, Sheffield, 19th August. Barcelona EPT, 16th & 17th September The World Masters, The Vic, 1st & 2nd October Grosvenor Grand Prix, Walsall, 16th - 17th October Irish Winter Tournament, The Merrion, Dublin, 29th & 30th October MasterClassics of Amsterdam, November 10th-12th November Northern Lights, Grosvenor Blackpool, 19th & 20th November Midland Masters, Walsall, 26th & 27th November Christmas Cracker, Luton, 10th & 11th December That'll do for starters, methinks. Merry Christmas! Title: Re: LIVE UPDATE SCHEDULE Post by: Ironside on January 29, 2006, 02:03:27 AM jim you need to delete temp files then re try

Title: Re: LIVE UPDATE SCHEDULE Post by: HarlemShuffle on January 30, 2006, 10:45:27 AM Can you tell me where I can find out specific information about these tournaments? Specifically the Grosvenor festivals and the Broadway festival.
HS Title: Re: LIVE UPDATE SCHEDULE Post by: snoopy1239 on January 30, 2006, 10:58:30 AM The casino's homepage may have a schedule uploaded.
Otherwise, you can try PMing the various cardroom managers. Yogi-Bear = Blackpool BlueWolf = Broadway Dani Versace = Walsall Failing that, you could always just give them a bell (contact numbers available on homepage) and ask for the details over the phone. I'm sure they'd be willing to send you a schedule leaflet if you so wished. Is there any Grosvenor event in particular that you had your eye on? Title: Re: LIVE UPDATE SCHEDULE Post by: HarlemShuffle on January 30, 2006, 12:06:38 PM Thanks for that. I was more interested in finding out about the Broadway actually because I usually get the leaflets about the Grosvenor festivals. I thought I'd ask just in case the info was published somewhere that I was missing. I will PM BlueWolf to find out about the Broadway.
Thanks. HS Title: Re: LIVE UPDATE SCHEDULE Post by: snoopy1239 on January 30, 2006, 02:23:34 PM No worries.
