Title: Reading PHA threads as a learning tool.
Post by: Mohican on March 04, 2015, 12:09:55 PM
Yesterday I clicked on the PHA section by mistake and ended reading through a few hands. It occurred to me, especially with the quality of players handing out advice, that reading through these threads might be a gd way to improve my game a little. Any thoughts people?
Tx.

thats what it is there for!

volumes of hands come and go on it, but i think its still a very effective resource

as you say, you'll get some advice from some of the best players around

pop some hands up, try and follow the advice in the template

I have posted hands in the past and got some very gd advice from very gd players. I just haven't read many other threads before yesterday. Think I'll stick my nose in there more often, might even learn summat.

Yeah I actually do this A LOT its seriously been my biggest learning tool bar playing. I think around the 12/13yr bit is a really good read. Also by viewing the board on thread views you can find some really great hands being dissected.
