Had it in my head when I booked that egypt was fine now, didn't even think needed to look to see if it was safe, since booking had a lot of 'be careful out there' ' do you not read the news ' etc etc Wondering if anyone has been recently and how they found it, not bothered about the usual I.e the blokes being seedy around women etc, been Turkey and used to that, more just safety with riots etc in Egypt. It is pretty much seperated from the rest of Egypt by hundreds of miles of desert inland.
