The nominations for the European Poker Awards have been announced.

Looks like we've got 19 days to get a campaign going to see The Camel take down the PEOPLES CHOICE AWARD EUROPE: BEST POKER AMBASSADOR  ;)

I wonder how many votes it would take to secure the award for any random player ?

I'd wager under 500. The hardcore poker fans who vote for this stuff are much smaller in number than most folks realise.

Just voted for Camel as well.  The awards are held in Malta Celtic so it's a perfect jolly up for us ex Malta boys!  Let's get the Camel out in Malta picking up this award it would be awesome! At least 4 strip bars within 200m of the awards hotel as well!

I was in the WSOP Media Centre in Las Vegas on one occasion, & was surprised to receive a visit from two gentleman (reasonably well known in the poker world) who had Media Passes under the name of "United Nations Poker Correspondent".

Still turns out occasionally in low stake donkfests.  I last saw him at a £30 rebuy at Genting Derby a couple of years ago with his missus.  He also used to frequent Genting stoke around the 2009 era.
