Hartech in Bolton are the experts and their website and posts on pistonheads are probably well worth a read.

I have owned Porsche's of all descriptions so can speak from good experience...not sure what age your going to buy but try to get one with a good warranty Porsche's of any description can be expensive on the repairs.. as with any car do your homework

1. Dodge Tomahawk: 350 mph (560 km/h) This Dodge Tomahawk is very limited motorcycle that use 10 cylinder, 90 degrees v-type engine. It can reach 350 mph (560 km/h) when it’s on top speed. This motorcycle can produce 500 horsepower (370 Kw) @ 5600 rpm. This motorcycle is using a simple transmission system by using just 2 speed manual transmission. I flew somewhere once with someone who was shit scared of flying. I tried to do the re-assure bit, but to no avail. They said "but what if it goes down?". When I said "generally speaking, every flight does" it probably did not help. Title: Re: Second hand porsche boxter Post by: Graham C on March 17, 2015, 11:58:59 AM It doesn't depend really, you have to either compare your top hairdressing car to a top bike or an average bike to an average hairdressing car (only carrying on with the hairdressing because everyone else is btw, I quite like them). I'd say that 0-60 was a better gauge too than, you're unlikely to get up to top speed on many UK roads. Even my 650cc bike will do 0-60 in under 4 seconds. You'll catch me eventually as my top speed isn't that great and I'm not brave enough to reach that fast on a bike anyway so we'd probably meet at the next set of lights.
Good luck with which ever model you get Title: Re: Second hand porsche boxter Post by: Mohican on March 17, 2015, 12:08:51 PM It doesn't depend really, you have to either compare your top hairdressing car to a top bike or an average bike to an average hairdressing car (only carrying on with the hairdressing because everyone else is btw, I quite like them). It's relatively easy to change on a motorcycle, depending whether you want more acceleration or top speed. Bit harder to do on a car.Good luck with which ever model you get Title: Re: Second hand porsche boxter Post by: mikeymike on March 17, 2015, 12:10:27 PM Now looking at the porsche 918 - 0 - 60 in 2.2 seconds, that is what you call fast.
I thought my hairdressing car No2 0 - 60 in 7.5 sec and weighs 3 ton was decent but now i think i might have to wait ten/twenty years for the 918 to come into my price bracket. I am pissing myself with laughter and people are looking at me as if i am deranged - but all i could say to my mate - was told you, you should have eaten |
