Title: Savings/Investment Advice
Post by: Jono3131 on April 09, 2015, 04:45:03 PM
Hi,

I am looking at setting up 'something' for my newborn niece.

I am thinking of paying in around £30 p/m.

Pay higher rate tax.

Just wanted some advice on the best thing to go for....

At the moment Fidelity seems to be cheap (AMC 0.35% for the ISA wrapper); SDRT waived and only b/o spread on the open-ended funds which include ETFs, ETPs, OEICS. I tend to favour investment trusts myself.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Can't see why you'd look any further than this for the next 12 months: http://www.halifax.co.uk/savings/accounts/junior-savers/
