After chatting with a few people I have decided to head up north for this weekends GUKPT leg in Edinburgh. Will most likely be driving up with Eso Kral and sharing accomodation with him. Hopefully there will be plenty of satelitte entries, and as its a fair way north, a few of the circuit regs may not travel for it. Plus with the £100k gte and only 2 day 1's, thursday and friday, there could be a chance of an overlay too. Will be looking to sell 45% of 2x bullets at 1.1, with obvious refunds if we make it through day 1 on thursday. I wont be using the second bullet on the same day 1 if i bust, will wait and start a fresh on day 1b. Have discussed the markup with rfqqqabc ( Mr Picken) and he/ we feel that this presents good value for this comp. Had success so far in deeper structure comps and have a good record of making day 2's, as well as day 3's. (2 out of 4). Confidence is still high with my tournament game, after last months 20th in the SKy mini, then the 2nd place finish in the UKPC Sky main event (£120k). Have made 2x day 2's since then out of 3 comps, inc a 300DS and the UKIPT main last weekend, where we finished 7 short of the money. Other live results inc 8th in GPS Notts last year for £7k and 10th in a dtd deepstack. Ground a shorter stack for a few levels, then doubled with AJ v 85 on J 7 6. Then 4 bet ripped jacks into AK for a 60k pot. Flop Axx and that was us out. Sorry guys thanks for the investment. |
