Title: Help Vegas Flights
Post by: ForthThistle on May 06, 2015, 11:21:43 AM
I have already posted on the Vegas Thread.

Mum and Dad are there on Holiday. Dad has taken ill and I don't know if its Stroke/Infection/Heart Attack and he is currently in intensive care. Need to get there for my Dad and support my Mum. Any help would be appreciated. Would prefer to fly from Scotland but would prefer Direct Flight.

Any help appreciated.

I generally do my searches on kayak and sky scanner mate. You will likely find the best prices via one of those. Best wishes to your dad also.

Skyscanner.com would be a good start, tough to nail down prices without a return date though

Best wishes to your dad, hope it works out ok

https://www.google.co.uk/flights/ is very helpful; can input multiple leaving airports and if you press the graph button it gives you a day view of the chepest flight

Good News!!!

He has been Diagnosed with a Skin condition called Ericiplis which has basically taken over his body!!!!. His Left leg is Very Swollen and very red but they have been giving him Intravenous Antibiotics to try and rid the infection. He is now out of Intensive care and into a side ward. I Actually spoke him last night and he is on the mend. He is due to fly back on Tuesday but think this may be a little too early and may see him spend a further few days in Vegas.

Many thanks for all the Get Well wishes and help.

Much Appreciated
David.

Good stuff, sort of :)

Hope that the antibiotics work, and he recovers quickly.

Bit of luck he can enjoy a few days more before flying home.

That sounds, sort of, good news.

Trust me its good news considering I was first advised of a Stroke/Heart Attack. Doctors expect him to make a full recovery over time.

I know you don't like the 1 time scenario but...........
