So 70% of manure fans are going to start driving Chevy cars world wide?  What a load of bollocks.

I still tell the kids to get Casio calculators rather than Sharp ones

I boycotted vodafone and would never buy a Chevvy

Having said that - I have never bought a Brother printer, sewing machine, booked a holiday with Thomas Cook and can't afford to fly with Etihad.

Club sponsorship isn't just the name on the shirt though is it?

I think the figure isn't that far off.

They also thought Dimitar Berbatov was worth £30m.

Can work both ways, I haven't bought any Cetic stuff in the years sponsored by Nike.

I might buy something with NB.

Isn't the reason why Celtic and Rangers had the same shirt sponsors because otherwise they'd lose business by being boycotted by the supporters of the other team.

I don't think so, I think it was just greed from the clubs in respect of the fact they were likely to get a bigger share of the cash by selling both to a sponsor.

With swinebag- avoid sponsors of rivals as petty as it sounds but don't buy just because of sponsorship. Maybe abroad where United have a global fanbase and the fans a little more fanatic?

To be fair, Sharp calculators are nowhere near as good as Casio ones. Wouldn't buy a chevvy anyway. The Vodafone boycott was pure bitterness though. I stayed on a more expensive contract with no signal in my own home rather than switch to vodafone.
