Title: Do you have a calling range here? Post by: shipitgood on May 12, 2015, 12:13:46 PM Really interesting spot. Had a bit of a debate about this last night. I don't think I've got a calling range here ever really thoughts? It's a 4 bet or fold for me. Ive hardly ever seen a spot like this. 50nl, both players are regs possibly on the tight side, 6 max all players have at least 100 bb. Utg - 1 50, utg plus 1 3 bet to 4 pound, we are next to act and 4 bet to £11. Everyone folds utg + 1s free bet is really small and we look so strong. Does any1 have a calling range here? To me it's a 4 bet or fold

Post by: Lambert180 on May 12, 2015, 08:58:09 PM Why don't you have a flatting range? +1 Wanted to let someone else reply first before I weighed in cos I was the one debating it with you I don't see how we can not have a flatting range here. If UTG/UTG1 is/are nitty (and I know one is cos I saw the aliases in original HH) then there will deffo be hands where if we 4bet we are turning them into bluffs but they're too strong to fold. For instance it's setting fire to money imo to cold 4b/GII v the super nitty reg UTG with AKo and I wouldn't wanna 4b/fold it v him either, nor would I wanna just open fold. No option is that appealing v that villian in that spot tbf but calling has to be better than anything else. Title: Re: Do you have a calling range here? Post by: MelissaChloe on May 12, 2015, 10:13:30 PM I feel like AA and KK would be good candidates to 'just' call with here. Not always, but a decent percentage/most of the time. Still undecided on best option with AK. AKo might be a fold imo, quite nitty, but not necessarily wrong.
