My understanding is that a new deck had just been introduced so likely a manufacturing fault rather then anything more sinister.  Not ideal but i'm sure all of them have played enough hands to know it can happen and how its dealt with and all seemed to move on without much fuss.  My only surprise is that nobody insta spotted it when it flopped.

I'm almost certain Polk knew.

Look at him blink several times when he sees the flop.

Then he seems to rake the pot extra quick + plus the surprise when he is told he has to give the pot back looks extremely fake to me.

When I first saw it, I also felt he knew too.  I wouldn't say I was almost certain though, as I could just have made a bad read.

I have been known to be overly trenchant in my opinions occasionally :)

I think he knew though. Surely he'd ask to see evidence if he didn't?

I'm with Camel. Completely implausible that no one noticed.

It's also fortunate that Officer Siever was there to clarify the rule. :)
