Fire away but be gentle ...ish.

Look pretty tasty to me.

I prefer to cut them into pieces before serving and not bother with having to use a knife whilst eating. Fingers (and fork if you must) should suffice for this sort of food.

Did you barbecue them or cook them in the oven?
Or both?

Put them in the oven in Coke and water for three hours, then marinated them before BBQ.

We don't do cutlery with these or most similar foods.

Chips are fake obv... frozen stuff that we like with ribs but not steak, these have to be homemade then.

I was going to post an amusing photo of my own ribcage, but I unfortunately I can't find it.
I know its in there somewhere, but until smart phones do x ray pics you's will have to take my word for it.

Meal looks scrumptious Maureen.

BBQ sauce recipe is lovely. I doubled it up because ...well because we love our food.

8 tbsp tomato ketchup
8 tbsp soft brown sugar
2 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
2 tbsp sweet chilli sauce
1 tsp paprika ( smoked adds to it)

all x 2 plus added chillies for a kick.

warm gently to bubbling then leave for a couple of mins. Then when ribs cooked (Put them in the oven in Coke and water for three hours turn twice ) , then marinated them before BBQ marrianate as long as poss, .. bbq um.

Green chilli corriander on top of white

Finger chillies
Garlic
onions
tommy puree
tommy sauce.

Liquidise.

White sauce.

Full fat sour cream,
Salad Cream
sping onions

This all seems to have way too much going on for my liking.  I have never ever liked anything marketed as  "barbeque" sauce for instance and if this is the sort of thing that goes in to it I can see why.  If I am going to make something I might sometimes start with soy sauce for instance, but if I am going to make something with tomatoes I try and start from tomatoes and not tomato ketchup.

Mixing together a bunch of shop bought sauces means you are going to get too many flavours competing and a bunch of things I don't reall want in there.  The end result is going to include all manner of unknown spices, herbs and flavourings and even some colourings.  This all seems the wrong result if I am making the effort to put something together from scratch.  Simple food cooked well just seems what the aim of home cooking should be.

The positive in all this, is that whatever it all tastes like it can't be worse than shop bought BBQ sauce.

I have two fussy kids and have tomato ketchup in the house, but it is for when I am lazy and not for when I am properly cooking.

The ribs look great, obviously. ;)

Taken on board. Thanks.

Are you busy this morning making your own sausages from the pig you slaughtered for breakfast to go with your home made bread and and home made butter covered in home made sauces sprinkled with salt you sourced yourself?.

Busy busy. I bet it tastes good though.  :-* :)up :-*

wp :-)

fwiw I found this recipe online a few weeks ago and used it for an end of term barbecue for the staff from wife's school.
The ribs just vanished.
