Probably made it more complicated than it should have been but we exited in a 200k pot with AdAs after chip leader w 700k opens to 17k at 5k bb and i just called from the sb with AA which let Mitch in as well.

The flop was 234 and we all get it in and Mitch had flopped a set of 2's and the guy utg has AA obv with the Ah and with a faint chop sweat on the 6turn we bricked off.

Lose AK v 77 on A27xx runout to go to 60k then have a bluff get called where we defend As4h to a min open and co call and flop 2spades and a gutter on K25 and check call 2 streets missing the gutter but a spade comes otr which I decide to rep and bet 60% pot with my villain calling after a dwell with a baby flush

35k at 3/600/75

Solid triple up from 25k at 600bb after Dan Ward opens utg 2 to 1200 and we find AA (again) and peel as the guy to my left has already shown a propensity to squeeze and is already going for the chips and makes it 12k (wal I know) and after it gets back to Dan he jams and I call all in with the squeezer calling and we're off to the races (that's how it's been with Aces this week) vs KK and JJ but we hold!

Further progress made calling a bluff to now have 87k with bb just gone 800

80k at second break going back to 5/1000/100

415k after we open 77 to 19k @ 8kbb and get 3b to 41k next to act and it folds back to us with us just calling to see an 832 flop which I check as does villain to see a Js turn which is rb and I now check call 41k which brings a 3 river.

Action is check check and we win vs A high I assume

535k after utg1 opens to 19k which is flatted in MP and now Tomsom 3's to 68k and I peek at AKo in the bb and cold 4 to 168k so am never folding and back to him we have a respectful show after he folded of his AQ to my AK.

Next hand he feels much better though doubling thru a random with The Beltons

670k after taking a slightly spewy line and called an open to 19k in sb with KJhh and bb comes along to see 689hxx which I donk 36k and we see the As turn and I keep the lead betting 57k which villain calls with 130k behind and on the Ah river I tank set him in and he folds

1.5 having been down at 1million a couple of hands ago when a guy who I have 3b the last two times he opened (actually had it both times) opens to 90k at 40k bb and I 3b to 225k which he tank calls (he covers us) and we see 446 flop which after he tank checks I check back and we see a 2 turn and he now leads for 210k which I call leaving 500 back and on the 10c river he checks quickly but looks pretty disappointed (diamonds missed) so I check back and wee good vs QK missed diamonds

Next hand open co to 125k w A9dd and Ben Jackson 3's to 245k which we peel and see the K73 (one diamond) flop and he checks as do I which brings the 5d turn and Ben quickly checks again which we fire out 245k and he tank calls with me watching him only as the river comes, after he checks I look at the lovely 10d and bet 375k which gets called pretty quickly so now have 2.3million with 23 left

Just under 3.3million after open AKhh to 225k at 100kbb and get peeled by BB who has chunks and we see a KJ5ddd flop that villain checks and I check back top top and we see a 2h turn which the villain now leads for 240k and we just call. The safe looking 5h rivers and the villain check calls a 375k river bet

Then table break and open K10ss to 225 utg 2nd hand at table and get called by cutoff and bb and we see a KK8dd flop and lead for 320 which they both fold so now have 3.7 million and am on table with Tom Kuggelstad who has 9million so between us we have a 3rd of the chips in play with 12 left

Bust in 8th for £5750 and the seat.   It became a turbo effectively as apart from Tom Kuggelstad we all had 12-15bbs and I raise folded (didn't think he would exploit me off 15bbs but we woulda been flipping vs 99) the penultimate hand with A10o from 15bbs and he jammed on me from the BB and the next hand I ripped just over 12bbs with A9o and the guy behind me found JJ to ko us flopping a Jack for effect :(

I made a couple of mistakes on the final table but obv dont profess to be perfect and when you buy you know you may get a bit of Espew Kral also (ala the QJ high call vs Keith) and driving back down the M1 you have plenty of time to analyse hands/spots and in hindsight the A10 is either a fold or jam and possibly the A9 a fold but I cant change that now unfortunately.

So I have just been to the bank and the nice lady behind the counter kindly said you do seem to pay these people on a regular basis  :P so would you like them set up on a bill payment as it will be much quicker next time so hopefully this doesnt work like the cashout curse!!

Bust as the blinds went 2/400/50 when after an open to 700 and a call otb I rip my remaining 6100 in from the sb with KQhh but get called by the O/r who has JJ so am in about as good a shape as could've hoped for but didn't win the flip on 3553J runout

Sorry for the distinct lack of sweat today and we're back in 2 weeks at Nottingham for the Sky 6 max where we will be looking to improve on our 11th place finish last year.

Next event is this week where we have 2 bullets at the 6max and the plan is to see how many runners the 1pm leg gets at Dusk then if not that many we will play the 6pm flight with Friday if required.

I was gonna venture down tonight but numbers seem depressingly low.

Unfortunately not as there are now 10 on 2 tables and it's a bit annoying as they started it having told us they were gonna give 20 mins and after about 15 I came back to find the stack in play which I probably wouldn't have started what is currently a sit n go!

We have 40k into level 2 with 30mins of level left

Not just a sit and go but one versus literally all decent pros!  Don't understand why the numbers are so low for the evening session! 

36k at 250/500/50

Bust in last 5 mins of 4/800 having chipped solidly down to 13k and playing 4 handed we shipped over a min open with 13bbs and K9cc and got looked up by both the BB and OR and flopped ok on K75ssc turned 8c but knew it was GG when on the 4s river it went bet raise and we lost to both 44 and 66.


I'm gonna play the 1pm flight tomorrow and if we bust and there's no objections I will play the 6pm flight using £550 from our extra WPT seat of £2200 so that would leave £1650.

But let's stay positive and get a good draw tomorrow and chip upwards...

215k after open btn at 2k bb to 5k with 89ss and sb accommodates us before bb 3's to 12k which we call as does the sb and we see a floptastic K106ss which gets checked to us and we bet 19k which is raised by the bb to 52k and after a short dwell we go all in as we need to see all 5 and scoop as the bb snap folds

270k after limping button with A6o and calling a small raise from the sb to see A108rb which he checks as do we and turn a 6 which villain check calls 12k and then on the 6 river (I know what ur all thinking 😉) he donk leads then calls off when we set him in and couldn't find the fold with dem Cowboys

Bagged 206000 after we bled a little in the last level having moved to a tougher table

Up to 270 early after shortie jams button and and we find the Beltons in sb holding vs KJo

Up to 410k with the blinds just gone 2.5/5k after winning a series of small pots and one where we must be unlucky not to win a biggie after utg1 mins and btn and sb peel we find 22 and set mine hitting on Q82hdc which o/r bets and btn calls so we jus call to see Kh (surely improves someone) but it checks round and on a brick river I lead 1/2 pot which they both fold

Not a good 3rd level today after a bit of a spewy hand vs Leon Campbell where we open get peeled twice and Leon 3s to 52k with us 4betting to 118k which he peels and then check calls a 95k flop bet on K45hsd we have hearts and a backdoor straight draw (a low one) and didn't then have any manoeuvrability on the 10c turn and checked to see the As river but he beat us in the pot and we had to fold.

Doubled back to 500 after co opens and Leon flats sb with us taking the odds with 77 (I mean the odds are obv greater but I flop well in this joint) and we flop a lovely rainbow A72 flop which Leon and I check as does co to see the Jd bringing a diamond draw and Leon now leads for 24k with me raising to 62k which sets up a river jam, Leon doesn't fancy calling the river jam so just sets me in with AQo drawing dead

615k just back from second break going back 5/10k/1000

58 left in the run in to the bubble

350k h4h now after Leon opens to 20k from sb to our big and we peel KJdd to see Q87ddh which he leads for 25k and we peel to see 9h which he bets 41k and again we call

The river pairs the 6 and he checks to us so have no option but to bet so fire 114k and after 5 minutes where 3players get knocked out to leave us on the bubble he calls with 79.

Just after the bubble burst ;) we had another battle with Leon where he opened button and we peeled sb w A9ss to see J73ss and c/c 25k turn pairs the Jack and we both check and the river bricks off but he folds 34ss face up when we have to bluff again!

400k with 40mins of 12k bb left and 44 left

Well we were a tad short with 164k in the sb at 12k bb then Leo McLean who recently moved here opened to 27k and we shipped JJ with him tank calling A4cc and us holding so now have 350k with 35 left

We're currently cashing for £1500 which as we used mostly credit for this means it's a bit like walking into the post office and losing the juice 😉

We're back bowling again guys as after this final break were going 12/24k and we have 280k having been  out flopped in a critical pot a few mins ago.

Peeled QKo in the bb from 10 bbs and Check raised the turn all in with board reading 2410J after the flop checked round and we didn't hit the dream river vs a flopped set of 4's which would've called anyway from chunks.

Will send on Monday to team and let u know what we're doing with the remaining £1650 from the seat credit we used this time

Ok so we cashed for £5750 in the August deep stack (all monies sent) and then £2500 today which is pretty dece as it only took a small top up inc the seat from July to play the 3 events.

We have £1650 in seat credit plus the Nov WPT seat (locked up) having fired an extra one at this event and in a couple of weeks I will likely play

PokerFest @ DTD - Weds 2nd Sept High Roller (one bullet) @ £1100
Then allocate 2 bullets at the main event (2x £330)
So total for dusk is £1760

Then 2 weeks later is GUKPT Luton which is fairly close to me and will play Tuesday 15th Sept the £330 side event and also one bullet at the main playing Friday (£1090)

Which totals £3180 minus the seat credit held of £1650 = £1530
So 10% = £153
5% = £76.50
2.5% = £38.25
Meaning I'm currently holding £250,£125 or £62.50 for you so if u want ur piece for the above I will minus the above off you returns from the £2500 today.

Please lmk itt if your happy with this and I will send adjusted amounts of £97, £48.50 or £24.25 and we're all balanced.

Open co to 1200 at 500bb with red 6's and get 3b by Daniel Tang otb to 2800 which we just peel to see K5Krb which we check call 2500 and a 3d roll off on the turn bringing in diamonds and we check call 4300 after seeing/hearing something that makes me want to call and 8h rivers with us both checking but we lose to 58cc to counterfeit us.

Just played a funky pot after utg opens to 800 @ 400bb and utg1 calls as do we with KJhh which sets off a chain reaction of calls with only the button who is away from the table not in the coup and after Frankie gives it the speech from the bb he just calls and we see 792hhx which the sb leads into for 2600 and after it folds to me I decide to raise as think it's the cheapest way for me vs this player to see the river so I raise to 6800 which gets tank called behind and then called by the c/o and the sb makes up the diff so I watch the players behind as the turn comes and then after the sb checks I look at the 3h and bet 14000 which gets one fold and then after a tank the old guy in the cut off jams for 23k total with the sb folding and were against 79o and as the co shows and bricks the other 2 players declare they amazingly folded exactly the same hand with all 3 having 79 otf

The old Eso would have got the other two all in on the flop.

The flop is 678ssx and Chi kindly asks the dealer for the 9s (I'm sure he didn't really want it) but u gotta be careful what u wish for as the 9s came which was followed by the 4s to send us to 250k with the blinds just gone 8/1600/200 (level 9 of 12 played today) and the avg at 81.5k

239k at last break with 3 levels to come back to starting at 1/2/300 avg 103k

Bled a bit back to 210k mainly after losing btn vs bb where we opened K10ss and flopped J107sxx turned 8s and got check called and then called a small bet on the 10d river.

Good table still though with 2 levels left

Kinda brutal level 11 as we lost some with JJ v JQ and to 2 shorties all in locked up so now have 145k at 3k bb with 34 mins of the day left

Back to 220k as had to bluff a river on a board reading K23hhd after me and the sb peeled a MP open as did we with 57dd which was checked round to see the 6h turn and after the sb checked I bet 18k hoping to get it through but the sb called and we saw a Qc river which he checked so I guessed 7 high wasn't good so bet 29k which was quickly called with AQdd :(

Very rare that I will have to report that I will report that I have exited on a complete bluff but today is the day :(

So we start the hand with 225k and 15mins of 8k bb left and have 230k at the start of the hand which commences with Luton Dan Smith lookalike opening to 18k which gets peeled by mp, btn and sb and we defend the big with K3ss to see a flop of 4510ssx (I'm sure we can see where this is going)

The sb and myself both check and Dan Smith bets 25k which we call when folded to, and we see the drawtastic 2h on the turn which I was going to check/jam all in but Dan bet 40k which we just called.

I already decided I may have to rep something river dependant and the 5d gave me the opportunity and after a short tank I ripped the remaining soldiers across the line and after 3minutes he call us with KK :(

We're up at Luton next in 2 weeks for the £300 and the main event so will report more then.

Table just got more fun with Terry Jordan on his second bullet today and sits down blind raising under the gun to 325at 100bb first hand he sat down.

Bust after we jam 6bbs utg with Q10hh and get looked up by both blinds to see worse flops than JK2hxx turn 5 river 7 and we lose to bb 45


Bricked this one unfort with just £330 in returns which will be shipped on Monday
