The Troubles in Ireland were beyond terrible, but when civilians were involved, at least there was a protocol of advance warning. It's just so awful. Fortunately this one seems to have missed its intended targets and exploded in water just off a footbridge. Scary times for sure. It's not clear who is doing it and why yet which is even scarier as this is a new thing for Thailand. I hope they get absolutely tortured if they do get caught. It doesn't matter if they kill one or a thousand people or no one at all, every new attack just confirms the fact that these atrocities can happen at anytime anywhere home or away. I know that means all the more reason to carry on about your business but I can't help but feel like they are slowly 'winning' by taking away our peace of mind. Has hummuspie from the Money exhange-Thailand thread been on here at all? I think he was in Phuket rather than the area targeted but it must have put a downer on his trip :-( |
