Title: Inspired by booder.
Post by: RED-DOG on September 11, 2015, 11:44:39 AM
There's a phrase that doesn't get used too often.

Anyway, What's on your sky planner?

Here's ours . Don't forget it's all girls here. Guess which are mine.

Just had a look, I was at 97%, so have deleted Gill's shite love films. She'll never notice, records them & forgets them, just the same way she fills the freezer with stuff & it never sees the light of day again.

^^

Best thing ever Tom, how spoilt are we these days?

Each night, after I'm done pokering & whatevering, I try & watch one of those off the Sky Planner, then 15 minutes of Music Vids on You Tube (a thread on "Your You Tube History" might be interesting....), then half an hour with a book. How good is that?

Almost perfect. Just add Breaking Bad and your life will be complete.

Related matter for discussion.  My Misses seems to try and record everything on every channel.  Nearly every football match I watch when she is out results in me having to make a decision about which of her recordings to cancel, the decision of which results in me either getting a minor rebuke or a massive kick in the nuts.

Does anyone else have this issue?

You need to train your wife better, remind her where the kitchen is and revoke her TV privileges till she learns sky planner is techincal and anything techincal is for the bloke.

OMG! I get this all the time.

I mean, how do I choose which recording to cancel? It all looks like shite.

The sudden appearance of the four horsemen of the apocalypse would cause less panic in our place than the recording clash message.
Utter mayhem every single time.

My Mrs records stuff like Horizon documentaries that you have to be in the mood for, and never is so it never gets watched but I obviously am not allowed to delete it because it will get watched "one day".  My daughter records loads of crap, but never watches it so I tend to just delete it when I'm flicking through, sometimes we don't even need the space.

My opinion is to delete ALL the stuff your other half has recorded - all of it, at the same time.

May as well be hung for a sheep as a lamb, eh? 10 minutes of curly lip, & it's all forgotten about. *

* Obv, if we are talking Mrs Red, or that difficult Daughter they have, that's different.

Difficult?  I simply like people to do what I want, when I want them to.
What could be easier?
