Title: On this day - Special Edition Post by: tikay on October 03, 2015, 10:05:03 AM 20 years ago today came the climax of one of the most gripping real life (& death) dramas ever, & if you were a teenager or older then, you must remember how the world was gripped by the televised trial of O J Simpson. Forget all those fictional TV Dramas, this was the real thing, & we were able to watch every minute of the trial, live on TV. Twist in the tail, too - we all knew he would be convicted - but he was found Not Guilty, to worldwide gasps, though that was far from the end of the matter. He was eventually sent to prison for 33 years on an unrelated matter, & becomes eligible for parole in just over a years time from now.
