Title: Chelsea, a sad sad story
Post by: TightEnd on October 04, 2015, 11:54:23 AM
what is going on?

have you ever seen more of a stream of consciousness in a manager interview than this?

A Soliloquoy, not an interview really

Spooky, was just about to start a thread about Chelsea's recent demise.

Can't recall a similar team - very very expensive, been consistently successful since Abromovich arrived, well-managed, do the business year after year, suddenly can't win a game.

What exactly has gone wrong?

We can't blame it all on Terry, much as we'd like to.

It's an extraordinary fall from grace in such a short time.

cant believe Jose focused on a penalty claim after saints had 2 turned down before chelsea's claim
and IMHBiasedO saints claims were much stronger

Jose is a hobo. 3rd season syndrome. Wonder how long Roman will give him. Maybe the feelers for Pep will be out?

crazy scenes every game you think they will be back but no nothing.

Saw this earlier on facebook also. Trying to be the next Andy Tate much?

Do these even mean anything anymore!

To be fair to the Chelsea fans I have not seen many calling for his head yet. More so calling for some of the players to buck up or buck off.

Think I was chastised for this on here or at least with all my friends I have always thought Fabregas super overrated and far from a world class player. Oscar, Willian, Fabregas, Pedro , Ramires just not good enough to be a in a team that will dominate for years to come.

I guess Moses falls into the same bracket but I feel he commits players a lot more and is direct and keeps teams on the back foot.

Defence, especially in full backs they are weak.

Costs more trouble than he's potebtially worth, don't think he brings others into the game as well as people may think and as a lone striker that's important.

Just not a world class team.

Some decisions that Mourinho has to take responsibility for

- letting de bruyne go when he was obviously very very good
- allowing lukaku to leave who is the perfect lone striker

The main thing is he doesn't see when players careers are finished. Ferguson got rid of Keane, Van Nistelrooy, Beckham, stam? Vidic, Phil Neville and many more when they were still at the top end of their careers but we're starting to fall and replaced them with Ronaldo, Rooney and other very good players. Mourinho didn't anticipate ivanovic, still backed Terry etc. Maybe he's got too much heart?

Never thought I'd see the day when Pleno criticised someone for too much heart! :D

Although I broadly agree.

They also let sturridge leave which I guess with his injury record seems justified but he also could've done a better job than Falcao/Remy.

they have been buying in then loaning out way to many players
look at ryan bartrand last season out on loan to southampton
got into the EPL team of the year yet not good enough for chelsea squad

more players out on loan that they are allowed in a full squad doesnt give the right message IMHO

If Chelsea have 16 points after 16 games, do you think Jose is a gonna?

Surely he'd have to be, that's relegation(ish) form.
