I got the book about a year ago and havn't got round to reading it yet. It seems quite heavy going, lots of Math! I'm going to try and get through the book, if anyone has read it, or yet to read it, and would like to go over some of the stuff from the book you can let me know. Pretty sure what u mean I just call it a different thing I think. It explains why draws do better than their equity share, nails implied odds and generallly is a far more effective way of.evaluating hands than dealing in raw equity. You can also use it preflop. Use a program like flopzilla to see how many weak pair, mid pair, strong pair, 2 pair, nuts, draws, gunshots etc. a hand makes and multiply those % by their relevant capture factors and you can get a good feel for how well a hand performs when flatting, limping, minraise etc. |
