I've always been a huge Coe fan, but all the stuff I've seen this week shows a man defending his position / job, when I would rather see (expect to see) someone showing a single-minded determination to sort out his beloved sport. It signifies someone who doesn't want to say too much, he's stopping himself saying anything. The yanks in particular (whom he trained with) seemed to be the worst for it.
