I have previous at the Vic, finishing 2nd here. http://pokerdb.thehendonmob.com/event.php?a=r&n=78995 Since then I have cracked on and barely played live, I think I have had 2 trips to Vegas where I have drawn a blank in tournaments and maybe played 2 UK tournaments. I also did cop a 1000 euro event on Winamax later that year where I sold shares on here. Frankly this year has been pretty crap online, live and through staking. I did about 15k up til Vegas, but have made about 3k in the last 3 months. It was probably a combination of not playing my A game, playing too many tables and running a bit bad. Guess I was due a bad year for variance. Anyway though I am a bit of a dinosaur; and probably play more O8 than hold em; I still think I am a bit ahead of an average GUKPT field; am well up on selling stakes here; am feeling I am playing well again and so am going to play. Maybe they'll be an overlay, maybe not. Don't think I have been less than 23 or more than 26. No massively tricky spots, one bad call. Doing fine. Will has been there two hours and already thinking of abandoning my chips and doing a runner to Stamford Bridge. I think stakes will understand. He has quite a few more than me now, not many are mine. Edit. He flopped a set, hit quads river. Playing well. Then just got lucky, QJ vs KQ on KQJx. SB vs BB. Will in BB. Fourth heart on river. Not tilted at all, not really messed anything up. Think Pleno said something in the summer about winning the hand by making the correct fold. Have been winning lots of hands that way. Managed to find a fold with 77 vs AA. No other hands of note.
