Title: Eureka/EPT advice
Post by: tteeeeee on December 01, 2015, 01:39:39 PM
Hello,

First time going to Prague for the eureka/ept festival and Im hoping for some advice from people of have been before.
I see that the 24hr cash games are in czk rubles and tourney entries in Euros. Im planning on playing both but Im not sure what money to take. Should i take some of both currencies or just take Euros and then change up to CZK when i need it?  Does the casino give a good exchange rate etc?  Not keen on using my bank card everytime i want to buy in as the charges will be stupid but Looking on taking +5k cash for trip is it fairly standard to just take cash for tourneys abroad or not?

Any advice will be appreciated as I've never been to a poker festival abroad!

Cheers

Hilton will lock (a very fair, sometimes better than spot) exchange rate at the cage for people changing euros into CZK for cash games and you can keep your receipt and take them back to exchange at the end of session or end of your trip.
