Title: Serial: Season 2 Post by: TightEnd on December 10, 2015, 02:19:59 PM anyone like series 1?
Season two of Serial, the most popular podcast of all time has started http://money.cnn.com/2015/12/10/media/serial-podcast-season-2-bowe-bergdhal/?sr=twCNN121015/12/10/media/serial-podcast-season-2-bowe-bergdhal/index.html0107PMStoryLink&linkId=19468060 Title: Re: Serial: Season 2 Post by: BiloxiDesire on December 10, 2015, 03:32:09 PM Really enjoyed the first series, thought that it faded out a bit towards the end as they seemed to drag it out a bit going over the same material.
Not sure how good a second series is going to be, feel like it will be a bit more forced this time around especially given how different/new it was first time. It may be a retrial or a quashed conviction but it's incredible really that he ever was convicted given the lack of evidence pointing to him.
I still fail to comprehend how Jay Wild wasnt convicted for accessory to the fact. In the UK, he'd have served significant time for preventing the course of justice. Title: Re: Serial: Season 2 Post by: lucky_scrote on December 11, 2015, 02:22:16 PM Oh cool, looking forwards to this.
I agree with Bilo, it faded in the last few episodes. I'm sorry rinswun, I would have agreed with you until the last couple of episodes. I did a lot of reading on reddit once I completed the series and there were some great breakdowns. However, it's all speculation. Still gonna listen and I expect it to pick up but I couldn't wait for episodes to be released last year...
I think the fact that Koening doesn't talk directly to Bergdahl also takes something away from the experience. |
