"its nowhere near as good as it used to be" i suppose in this era of netfliz, prime, streaming and torrents the age of blockbuster films not seen by most etc is long gone.... Post by: Graham C on December 23, 2015, 09:56:34 AM I see they're dragging Open All Hours out for another episode, shows how bad things really are at Christmas for television.
I'm not sure what's on that I'm looking forward too, I only really look on the day or the day before but I'm sure there's something on, there's enough channels. Bound to be a good enough film on. We watch National Lampoons Christmas Vacation the other day :D (OK, that was on DVD) Title: Re: Christmas Telly - what is worth sky plussing? Post by: Marky147 on December 23, 2015, 01:02:24 PM I'll watch Only Fools & The Royle Family, if either of those are on.

Starts at around Midnight I think, on Sky Sports. Title: Re: Christmas Telly - what is worth sky plussing? Post by: Marky147 on December 25, 2015, 11:36:47 AM Just catching up on Eastenders now :)

An Ealing comedy, first film I ever saw at the Cinema. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Titfield_Thunderbolt Boxing day 1984 i was in Bermuda . TV would only pick up crap American shows so i borrowed my bosses Video player and hired all the "Ealing Comedies" from the local video rental shop and spent the day gorging on great British comedies ,sausage rolls , cassava pie and weed. Probably the best Boxing day ever. Title: Re: Christmas Telly - what is worth sky plussing? Post by: ripple11 on December 26, 2015, 09:22:31 AM For those with kids.....and maybe those without ;)
