•a knighthood for champion jump jockey, AP McCoy
•a CBE for Denis Law for services to football and to charity
•a CBE for Francis Lee for services to football and to charity
•an OBE for sports commentator, Sue Barker
•an OBE for cyclist, Chris Froome
•an OBE for snooker player, Ronnie O’Sullivan
•an MBE to sports broadcaster, Jacqui Oatley

Surprised Froome only gets an OBE vs Wiggins gong.

Wiggins only needs one more gold to be Britains moat successful Olympian of all time. I think that's the reason for the different accolade. I'm not sure if Froome has any Olympic medals.

Wiggins got an OBE in 2004, before the knighthood. Froome has still got time on his side.

Froome got bronze in road time trial in London 2012, only Olympic medal he's got so far.
