I don't understand the Periodic Table, but it's like baseball stats, staring at them is fun in itself even though they make no sense whatsoever. Apparently, the Periodic Table thing is all very symmetrical, & there are gaps which belong to elements which have yet to be discovered, but they MUST exist. Apparently. So a big welcome to ununtrium, ununpentium, ununseptium, and ununoctium. They are purely theoretical to be honest and of no real value. They only exist under very extreme conditions, and then only for fractions of a second as they have such short radioactive half-lives. I'm sure I will be bombarded with keen young minds asking me about these after the Christmas break; what else could possibly more exciting to a teenager could have happened over the Christmas holidays?
