What are they going to do when they enter someone's house and there's an angry Rottweiler sat there waiting for them? What about if there's a nice friendly dog who just decides to leg it past them out in to the street? Such a stupid thing to do. Title: Re: Police entering people's unlocked homes and posting photos Post by: Mohican on January 26, 2016, 07:10:44 PM Obvs need a warrant to search a house but would you rather the police told you your house was unlocked or come back to find burglars had been there? I think it comes under crime prevention, esp when they find six in half an hour. I don't think they've done anything wrong and highlighting it should hopefully encourage others to lock their doors.

What about if there's a nice friendly dog who just decides to leg it past them out in to the street? ....yep I'd be pretty angry if this happened in the Carter home. |
