I really pitty anyone who plays them regularly. I seldom go to the B&M shops these days but when I do, the way staff act like vultures getting people involved unsettles me. I remember a while back, I was asked to sign a petition in a Coral shop about the increase in tax on the machines I think, and the shop manager was pleading saying it could mean the end of his shop. I had very little sympathy and put forward a quite coherent case for why these machines should be banned in the shop, I also started educating other punters on their pitfalls. I was banned from the shop.

Not convinced the open door policy of certain casinos should be allowed either. The thing I found most alarming about this case was that PP were allowing someone to put large amounts of cash in the FOBT and put "winnings" on a debit card. The managers informed about this activity didn't seem or pretended not to understand the money laundering risks of allowing this. An FCA regulated firm would be utterly slammed for that kind of breach. |
