Title: Fantasy Football - Euro 2016
Post by: Mark_Porter on May 17, 2016, 01:27:28 PM
Is there any interest for a Blonde Fantasy Football league for Euro 2016?

http://eurofantasy.uefa.com/en

The rules are largely the same as the FPL game that we are all used to. A nice little guide here - http://www.fantasyfootballscout.co.uk/2016/05/16/euro-2016-guide-to-the-uefa-mcdonalds-game/

If there is enough interest then could do a free league and a couple of paid leagues. Happy to administrate and set the leagues up unless one of the FPL guys wants to organise. Starts in just over 3 weeks so plenty of time to put a team together.

Not to derail but if anyone wants more action I'll be running a draft league via this website: https://draftfantasyfootball.co.uk/ Scoring for that was exactly the same as FPL for the PL game (apart from no bonus points) the Euro one hasn't launched yet.

I have set up a free league, £10 entry and £25 entry.

Will PM league codes and bank details to any interested parties.

In for both.

I'll also give a bit of overlay given my recent FPL luckboxing antics - extra £20 for the £10 league and an extra £30 for the £50 league (assuming we get at least a few players for both).

Have read the rules and deduced that i really cannot be arsed with this one. Way too much involved by way of management.

8 days to go.

Only 7 separate "game weeks" spread over the 4 week competition. Far less maintenance needed than the full FPL season. Plus who doesn't want a fantasy team with Ronaldo and Ibra upfront!

Added money from Gazza too. Get involved.

In for £10 and £25 leagues, please. I'm not a regular here, but dino1980 can vouch for me :)

PM me details when you get a moment.

Thanks

Joined and money sent, including overlay.

Come one, come all, otherwise it's basically me giving Mark and Dino £50 in equity!

Like the look of this like ironside said would be really good for premiership next season, years ago used to play the fantasy and we used to hold an auction it was great fun

In for everything. Hope my "picking players I've heard of" strategy works.

Final call.

6 in both of the pay leagues, 9 in the free league.

So both paid leagues have the same runners so we essentially have a £35 league.

6 runners, total prize pool including the generous added money from Gazza is £260.

Gazza - sure you want to add in £50 with so few runners?

Can do winner takes all or top 2, whatever everyone prefers.

Yea, overlay still on.  Especially as I have Giroud (c) and Payet :)

Top two sounds good to me. £175/£85 or similar seems inline with a six-max stt payout.

Yep, let's go with that then. 5 points not enough to keep the armband I think.

i may have read the rules wrong (or not at all) but can we not make transfers during the group stage?

I've forgotten to do subs everyday so far  >:(

The winners are:-

1st Dino1987 - £175
2nd Mark_Porter - £85

Dino wins it by 3 points. Just 9 points separated the top 4. Congrats. Will send money now.

Not long until the prem is back and can get back to the serious business. :-)
