Post by: snoopy1239 on February 02, 2006, 09:59:40 PM I'd call.
If he as king, then I would have expected him to have raised before the river. If he has anything else, then you're not going to get too much more out of him -- unless he's a complete fish. I have a feeling he has a boat with TT. Title: Re: how would you play this one??? Post by: Ironside on February 02, 2006, 10:23:07 PM i think he is fish with qj
Title: Re: how would you play this one??? Post by: Newmanseye on February 02, 2006, 10:27:47 PM well I was on edge with this as I knew he had the king, and I had the feeling he was slowplaying.
I called in the end and he showed Ks Tc. I was happy with my read, and I knew I could not lay down a boat. I went to to take second in the tourney anyways. Title: Re: how would you play this one??? Post by: temp0r on February 05, 2006, 07:56:57 PM i'd put him on KQ or something and call. K10 is a dumbass hand to minimum raise with under the gun but thats what he did.
you did no wrong to call. but i'd have been a little more coucious on the river with his call on the turn. if someone calls the turn they're either trying to slow play the nuts or make a draw. in this case it could only possibly be he has the nuts. so i'd check-call the river and lose less. Tough, one of those hands i think you need to pay off |
