Title: Deepstack in the cash
Post by: TightEnd on September 01, 2016, 12:04:39 PM
At the min cash payouts

13m in play so 1.3m average for final

A shortish stack opens to 4500 at 1-2k, playing 90k. unconventional type player. wide range pre, overplays hands post

A big stack playing 500k+ flats

you in the big blind come along with  9d 7d playing 250k

it comes  6d 4d 3d

you check intending to check raise (i assume)

90k shoves

big stack re-shoves

are you ever ahead? can you call? should you call?

I'd call fairly quickly.

What's the buy in?

£550

lot of the field and almost certainly both opponents in the hand are satellite qualifiers

In holdem I'm snap calling. Think I'm ahead much more often than not.

Just seen that we don't have the stack i first thought we did.

I'd call. I don't expect the big stack to reshove a hand better than ours when those hands want us in the pot, so I expect to be decently ahead of an overpair with diamond type hand.

Anything the big stack does looks super strong so I definitely think he can have the stronger hands. We have one if the worst flushes and pretty much the worst vs a sb peel. Sb is unlikely to reship ak Kd imo but evem then that's big boy behaviour vs a 5x pot shove.

It's not a fold I would have seen in game but it looks really good now. The sb is just too strong and his value has us nearly dead and his draws to 25 or so.

Might be too many Ax combos but people 3b some of the ones they'd want to call off.

"we" are the small blind with 9d 7d

post flop UTG and chip leader have shoved after our check.
