Title: Las Vegas Weekly Schedule
Post by: TheDoc12345 on February 03, 2006, 01:39:00 PM
Not sure if I have done this right, but hopefully attached is a weekly schedule for the poker rooms in Las Vegas. I have been searching the internet for somewhere that does this without success (in easy to read format that can be printed off and taken with you)

I guess this might be handy for others that periodically go out there for fun.

If I have missed of any tournements, please let me know.

Thanks

Luke.

PS For some reason I could not load this up in Excel, so I have changed it to Word - Worth changing back to Excel if its of any use.

Some of these guys really know how to juice it up, Binions daily $40 gets a 50% fee. Big up to those casinos who put on no fee tournys 8)

HTF do Binions get any players for this, is it popular??

Are Americans really that stupid?

No - Binions have a "Bonus" at the start, which means for an extra $10 you get 50% more chips. Obviously you have to pay the $10 otherwise you are at a disadvantage, so I just put it straight in !!....

I wanted to get the whole lot on one sheet, so didn't have room for a comments column...

That's extremely handy, thanks. Any way of telling if they're rebuy tournaments or not?

Isn't it limit for first hour?

I think it's limit or pot limit.. one or the other.. can't remember at the moment. Either way it makes the first hour very slow because people don't realise and are always trying to go all in.

Personally, I think a Las Vegas childboard with all relevant information could be a really good idea...

Nice one Luke.

Might have changed in last few weeks, but when I was out there the daily 11am at Harrah's was $50 with a $40 rebuy.

Well I obviously didnt see this until recently - some of us have "other" things to do than read forums.

Geez James - lay off the arsey comments ffs. Either that, or go back to loosing - you were VERY quiet then!!  ;goodvevil;

Bit OTT Paul! I think you two need to be banned from posting in the same thread.....

My My.

As for the losing, tell me exactly when to go back too! I have only ever had 1 losing month in my life and that was my very first month playing the game.

OK.

Jane - OTT? Probably, but I see a thread about the comps in Vegas (after someone bumps it up) and say "thanks", the thanks was to the person who bumped the thread. Then James comes on with that pointless comment (which we both do alot) but it was one too many. You are one of the few people who know how much respect I have for James, think back to that heads up (unusual suspects comp in Walsall)

James - Ok, i should of said "dry spell for MTT's" and not "loosing" - apologies

For those who are heading out to Vegas in the near future... and that don't have bottom-less pockets.  :)

The Venetian currently have two daily tournaments, at 12.00 pm (noon) and 8.00 pm.

The buy-in is $110 + $25 for 1500 chips, plus a $5 (staff bonus) add-on for 1000 chips... so you can start with 2500 chips for $130... There is one $50 re-buy, again for 1500 chips, which can be taken any time in the first 1 1/2 hrs (3 levels)... and a 30 min clock throughout.

Usually about 60 entries (65 yesterday).

Blind schedule and full details are here - http://www.venetian.com/casino/daily125.htm

I've not been in many poker rooms in Vegas (or any where else for that matter) but I doubt there are many nicer ones... beautiful surroundings, nice tables, good dealers... oh, and  the cocktail waitresses aren't too shabby either!  ::)
