Title: Shed advice. Post by: Mohican on November 21, 2016, 03:55:14 PM Looking to get a new shed. Obvs I've seen the traditional wooden ones for sale but there are some decent looking metal/plastic ones out there. Anyone have one of the others or advice about them?
Tx. Title: Re: Shed advice. Post by: RED-DOG on November 21, 2016, 04:02:18 PM Looking to get a new shed. I am a world authority on sheds. I have a plastic one, a traditional wooden one, a metal one, a shipping container and a box van body with a daylight roof. What size do you want and what do you want it for? Title: Re: Shed advice. Post by: Mohican on November 21, 2016, 04:43:11 PM Looking to get a new shed. What size do you want and what do you want it for? If security isn't a big issue I would definitely go for plastic. I bought mine second hand, I've had it a couple of years and the people I bought it from had it for several years before me. It' just as good as new. They are bone dry and maintenance free. No mending, painting or re-felting. A bit of advice, make sure you stand it on a firm even surface and fasten it down well. 8x7 is an awkward size but check out eBay and Costco.
