Title: Ryan Mason
Post by: Ironside on January 22, 2017, 11:23:02 PM
Reports are coming out on facebook and twitter than he suffered cranial damage and bleeding on the brain. Thoughts and prays go out to the player and his family.

The mirror reporting he is fighting for his life.

God speed.

Seemed pretty wild from Cahill as well.

Would imagine Cahill feels pretty horrific at the moment as it is - can't see how jumping up trying to head the ball is wild personally, he's done nothing wrong for me just a clash of heads which does happen.

Hoping Mason pulls through and is back out on the pitch soon.

That's awful. Freak injury unfortunately. Hope he's OK. :(

Telegraph reporting he has suffered a fractured skull, has been operated on and is stable.  He is expected to be in hospital for a few days.

Sounds much more promising.  Hopefully this is accurate.

A terrible thing, but not much to be done.

Fingers crossed he makes a full recovery.

Yup, that sounds better.

A complete accident of course, Cahill has no reason to feel any guilt.
