Title: France car rental Post by: Woodsey on March 07, 2017, 01:12:39 AM Anyone got any preferred companies or booking agents?
Got shafted in Italy last by rentalcars.com who seemed to offer a very good price only for there to be a bunch of extra things I needed to pay for when I got to Italy. Guess all I really care about is no midget cars (maybe a Ford Focus size car at least), and an excess of no more than £1k if the worst happens... When I wanted to swap the main and 2nd drivers about, you'd think it was like asking for next weeks lotto numbers, even though it stipulated that amendments could be made up until 24 hours before. I just cancelled the booking in the end, and rebooked direct with Hertz. They do have some offices at French Airports, might be worth a look?
