The best programmes i have found are Ulead DVD MOVIE FACTORY   and  Roxio easy media creator

the movie files you download whether its avi  mprg  divx or any other one it will convert them to DVD and burn
it onto a disc all in one go

they are the best and easiest ones but if you need any info on other stuff to get better quality or compress them
give me a PM and i'll let you know

hope this helps

In both of these there are settings set them to... best quality ... PAL and and they will play in any DVD player

or pirated stuff ... nooo never..... never .... 0:-)

you are better off getting cheap Ritek dvd's  but dont go for the rewriteable one as there a lot dearer
but get a few just to try and work out how everything works so you can use them again instead of haveing lots of coasters
if you look at a dvd before its image is burnt on the deeper the colour of die the better quality
