Title: £1 Million on the line: You have to.... Post by: TightEnd on August 23, 2017, 08:09:25 AM $1 Million on the line: You have to correctly answer a tough trivia question from 1 film.
Which movie are you picking? Title: Re: £1 Million on the line: You have to.... Post by: Woodsey on August 23, 2017, 08:11:35 AM A film I've watched a gazillion times, so maybe something like back to the future.
Title: Re: £1 Million on the line: You have to.... Post by: DMorgan on August 23, 2017, 08:27:15 AM Tough to know whether its best to go for a film that you know a reasonable amount about or one that you know a little bit about but has relatively few characters. Castaway or Gravity maybe.
I probably end up flipping a coin between Snatch and The Big Lebowski Title: Re: £1 Million on the line: You have to.... Post by: lucky_scrote on August 23, 2017, 08:35:16 AM American pie and the answer is Apple.

Title: Re: £1 Million on the line: You have to.... Post by: Cavey007 on August 23, 2017, 08:53:36 AM Frozen. Moana is up and coming. I could probably nail either of them too. Although had been a week or two since we watched Moana. We did meet the actual real life Moana at Disney Paris 2 weeks ago. Surprisingly ample lady Title: Re: £1 Million on the line: You have to.... It's like no cheese I've ever tasted... Title: Re: £1 Million on the line: You have to.... Post by: EvilPie on August 23, 2017, 10:55:27 AM If it's purely about the content of the film itself then Aliens closely followed by Pulp Fiction.
If they ask a question about the cast, crew, writers etc. then it's back to work on Monday. Title: Re: £1 Million on the line: You have to.... 88 minutes of not a lot happening. Very few actors. David Lynch is one weird mofo. In for the money. Films I've watched more than any others? The Wild Bunch and Dirty Harry. Harry Callaghan, one of the first modern day anti-heroes following in the footsteps of The Man With No Name. "Do you feel lucky, punk?" ftw. Peckinpah's Wild Bunch is an absolute classic Western, showcasing some superb swansong acting performances from legends of the genre, in a wonderfully prosaic script, culminating in a battle scene not bettered imo until Private Ryan. See the abbreviated version first before going into the realms of the Director's Cut. Peckinpah would hate me for saying it, but the initial release was better for not being self-indulgent. Sorry, folks, I'm rambling. |
