Title: Is this a fold?
Post by: Tal on November 04, 2017, 10:19:06 PM
1/1 live game.

UTG, we see Ad 9h. We make it £4. We start with £250

Chap two to my left (£230) has been a bit odd pre so far (I have been here an hour). He makes it £16. Young lad to my right is new (£170ish) but has been fairly aggro. He flats BB. I decide to call (wrongly but it's a cash game...)

Flop 9s Aspades 6h

Check check to aggressor. He checks.

Turn Kd

BB now bets £31

I call. Aggressor also calls.

River 4c

BB now shoves his c£120.

As per the thread title, what's our play?

Fold pre flop initially, would fold at too and aj depending how many guys.

As played snapping, don't block any natural bluffs, block value hands, very high in our range, good pot odds.

Fold pre,

Post flop, checking flop seems standard, when it checks through, would defo raise turn in a live cash game, someone's not folding an ace.

As played, calling river and being very happy about it!
