Title: a note of caution
Post by: Ironside on February 06, 2006, 04:13:09 PM
In 1981
1. Prince Charles got married
2. Liverpool crowned soccer Champions of Europe
3. Australia lost the Ashes
4. Pope Died

In 2005
1. Prince Charles got married
2. Liverpool crowned soccer Champions of Europe
3. Australia lost the Ashes
4. Pope Died

Moral: - the next time Charles gets married, someone warn the Pope

Pope John Paul I died in 1978, not 1981.

Sheriff Statto

Edit: I think you're confusing it with the year Pope John Paul II got shot and survived, so there's probably still a need to issue a warning!

Also, I was not concieved in 1981. That would involve my parents engaging in intercourse.

This, of course, is unthinkable.

The stork brought me in 1982 and that's that.

'81 eh Tank.

They were probably listening to 'Endless Love' by Lionel Richie and Diana Ross, maybe 'Keep on loving you' by the fabulous REO Speedwagon, whilst making the beast with two backs.

Enjoy your dinner :)

My dinner went down ok but you've forever spoilt my enjoyment of Red Speedwagon.

Does anyone want to buy some CD's?
